Ross McAdam

Associate Professor Oxford University

Ross McAdam is an Associate Professor of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. As the lead post-doctoral researcher on the PISA project he was instrumental in delivering new design methods for XL monopiles. As part of a team of academic researchers, his ongoing work is expanding these methods to a greater range of soil types, as well as complex layered stratigraphy and to international regions that will be the next major consumers of this technology. His interests in field monitoring aim to validate these new design methods and demonstrate the resulting lifetime extension for existing structures.
